We joked about renting it out but after all the work that went into it we decided it wasn't worth it ha ha. There were about 120. I was terrified that not everyone would fit but the day before when we set up the tables I was relieved.
What did you use to hang the lights from? We are doing our rehearsal in our backyard and I bought some lights but me and the FI can't figure out what to hang them from. YOur insight and help would be so beneficial!!!Thanks!
The perimeter lights were strung on 7ft. shepherds hooks that were placed about every half of strand (very successful). The dancefloor lights were on wooden poles with eye screws on the tops, screwed into the ground with ground screws (not so successful). I ordered my shepherd hooks through an ebay seller and got them in bulk alot less expensive than buying them at a store individually. After the wedding we had a yard sale and the shepherds hooks went fast. We resold them for $5 each. Good luck! The lights really transformed the yard at night and I am so glad we did it and figured it all out.
I got them on sale at target for about $9 a box. They had 25 lights per string. The bulbs were paper thin though so I bought an extra string for replacement bulbs.
