I use low temp hot glue because it bonds instantly. Otherwise, you have to hold it in place while the glue sets.

For crepe paper, regular white glue is just fine.

If I am gluing two sheets together (for different paterns on each side) I use a simple glue stick.

These are my flowers using just regular copy-type paper that I painted first.  I used low-temp hot glue.

I’m curious to see what others use…

I used hot glue on all my flowers. At first i tried super glue but found that hot glue was just as good and less of a mess.

I used card stock, scrapbooking paper, and regular white printing paper. The card stock gets very hard to fold for smaller flowers. my flower sizes ranged from 2 inch squares all the way up to 8 1/2 inch squares.

My bouquets i used a wooden dowl for the stem wrapped in ribbon. i glued the flowes directly to the stick. makes more of a ball bouquet than a normal flower bouquet. some people use floral wire so they can shape the bouquet.

The middle of the flowers didn’t always come together and look nice… so i bought a large thing of rhine stones had 2 sizes small and large. I glued them in the middle. and even then with the card stock flowers the middle was bigger so i placed a button then a rhine stone on the flower.

i love my flowers. EVERYONE at work loves them too!

I used hot glue for almost all of them, except for the paper book ones.

The only reason I didn’t use hot glue is because it kept burning my fingers when I had to rearrange it or whatever not. It got pretty bad and it hurt all the time. So instead I used E 6000, the industrial glue.

For stems I tried different things, I used popsicle sticks at first and that DID NOT work at all. It was way to difficult to arrange. So I wound up using wire flower stems from Michaels. They were 16 gauge and worked out SO well.

Here’s a picture of mine.

Not a very good picture but you get the gist.
