Tons of DYI at this shower:
*Congratulations banner cut using Sure Cuts a Lot software and my Circut
*Pom flowers and bakers twine for napkin rings
*Poms hung between tables (Poms made using Martha Stewarts tutorial: http://www.marthastewart.com/how-to/tissue-paper-pom-poms-how-to)
* Plastic vases from the Dollar store spray painted white and then with a clear laquer for shine so that they would resemble a milk glass vase
* Bulk carnations for centerpieces ordered from Fifty Flowers and assembled the night before the shower
* Favors – Made using the Cruicut and filled with assorted flavors of Hershey Kisses & Hugs

I think painting the vases white and the laquering them is brilliant! They do look like milk glass!! Good job!!

Thanks for the compliments ladies! This was all so much fun to do!
I made the favors using my Circuit and a software call Sure Cuts A Lot. I got a template (in SVG format) from the internet and cut all the pursues out of 12×12 scrapbooking paper using the Circut. Then it was only a matter of scoring, folding, and gluing each purse.
I used my Big Bite Crop O Dile to attach the handle with white grommets and added the little pearl and a square piece of double sided tape to close each purse.
All total I’d say it took me two days to do 50 pursues and cost me about $1.75 per favor including the Hersheys’ kisses.
