@amandao21 did you use fishing line as your thread? i tried making these also with normal thread and it didnt work, the thread wasnt strong enough then i made them again with fishing line and it looked better but not yet perfect like i want. Try again with fishing line

@leannamari3 Try jewlery wire. It’s stronger and more stable. I’ve seen it at JoAnn’s and Michael’s.

Do you have any tips on stringing them? I’ve tried these twice but end up getting frustrated each time. I can’t for the life of me make all the folds the same size.

try putting a pearl between for a guideline for how much of the fold you want. thats the best way ive found. i also made one with jewerly wire like @psichick1 sugguest. it held up better and was stronger. the only down side is i didnt have a needle that fit the jewerly wire so i had to just put the wire through, which took more time but def. worth it.

I saw some collapsable needles at Michaels that I think would work well with projects like these with beads? It looks great !
