As part of my gift, I made my bridesmaids survival kits with everything in them they might need on the big day. I think they turned out super cute!
This is the front:
And this is the inside, all packed full:

Thanks guys! Here’s a breakdown of the project:
1. Bags – from Avon. It’s was just plain with the yellow and white stripes. I tried to paste the link but it doesn’t look like they carry them anymore.
2. Flower – I made the flower using felt and this tutorial: http://makeanddogirl.com/2011/10/tutorial-diy-felt-flowers/
3. Personalization – I purchased personalized labels for each bag. I ordered them from here: http://www.etsy.com/shop/CordesCreations The seller was SO amazing and didn’t call me a weirdo when I asked for just the label and no bag, lol.
4. The poem – I started with one I found on here then tailored it to meet my items. I had to add a bit more, too, because my list was a bit excessive. Each item is accounted for in the poem:
“This kit was made to say how happy I am to have you beside me on my wedding day. There’s chocolate and candy in case you need a sugar high and a packet of tissues in case you should cry. Lip gloss, straws, and flossers to help you care for your smile, and if a nail should break I’ve included a file. There’s a lint roller to clean up your dress and gum to keep your breath minty fresh. There’s Advil incase its ill you should feel and band aids to help you tackle those high heels. A brooch to hold your sash in place and blotting cloths should you get an oily face. Juice and water to quench your thirst, and sunscreen you should apply first.
A granola bar to calm your hunger, sewing supplies and safety pins should you have a dress blunder. Bobby pins and combs to keep your hair in place with makeup remover for any mistakes you need to erase. Wet wipes and hand sanitizer to help you clean up any mess while perfume and lotion are to help you smell your best. Should you need them I’ve included a razor, Q-tips, a tampon and a liner to help your day be a little finer. I’ve put everything in a handy personalized sack so you know this bride has got your back!”
Then I just printed the tags out 4/pg and rounded the corners with my little puncher.
These were SO FUN to make and I’m so excited to pass them along to my girls as part of their gift. 🙂 Let me know if you ladies have anymore questions!! 🙂
