Finally finished a DIY project – my bridesmaids hangers! Saw them on this website and on etsy and decided to give them a try since other brides said it wasn’t tooooo difficult – and they were right! I didn’t use any special types of font or fancy tools except my hands, scissors, and a pen to round some of the curves. Since I didn’t have a drill handy, I just decided to wrap the wire around the little notches on the top of the hangers. The wire I used was also very malleable which makes it easy to form the letters, but also makes it kind of fragile.

I used 12 gauge wire – its really easy to bend (didn’t even need to use pliers) since its not as stiff as the 16 or 18 gauge but like I said it also makes it a little more fragile (which is fine since I’ll just store them in a safe place until the wedding). Here’s the link
There have also been other tutorials posted on this website
Hope that helps!

Those are absolutely adorable. I think I might like to get them for my bridesmaids someday…the only drawback is that everyone seems to be doing them!
