Thank you SO much for posting this! I found the same save the date magnets from etsy and there was no way I was paying almost $4.00 a magnet! I get kind of upset when people post things for DYI and they don’t show you or tell you how to do it, they just want to sell it to you…so A BIG THANK YOU! And they look awesome! You must be doing an outdoor theme of some sort?

another question, this may sound dumb…but is guest information just info on your venue? every time I got a save the date it was just the magnet, never anything with it. But I think that is a good idea. I am looking at the wood grain paper and the envelopes and I am kind of confused on the clear envelopes- It must just be clear in the back?

Yes I see what you are saying it makes sense! I will have to write info like that too since I have people coming from out of state as well. That sounds so pretty with a lodge on a lake!! Unfortunately to get any kind of venue like that in NH it’s big $$$$!! However, we are getting married at a nice Italian restaurant and their reception hall is gorgeous with big picture windows, lots of brick ( it’s in a mill building ) and exposed posts in the room so we are trying to make it as earthy as possible. And when you say you can get 6 enclosure cards on one sheet-I am assuming you are doing this by yourself maybe in Microsoft word and just cutting them?

I went to Michaels today and the most expensive burning pen was $16.99-any particular reason you chose Amazon? Its looks complicated to use but I am going to give a whirl!!

Thanks so much for all the good info! I will def order the hearts ( they didn’t have them at Michaels) and I will make sure I get the wood burner with the flow point. I don’t have a whole lot to do so I can mess up a lot ha! That is ridiculously cheap for a venue! I guess you do live in the country !! Something like that around here goes for thousands of dollars. There is a nice castle here in NH (actually 2 you can married at, one is nicer than the other) and the cheapest of the 2 has like a $8500 food minimum !! That is like my entire budget-if that! Ugh I wish we had cheap venues like that ! I hope you post pics I am very anxious to see! I’m really set on the fairy/woodsy theme! =)
