Team Mark (groom)
Team Amanda (bride)
our wedding date
our 2 different college logos
the name/population of the small town we got married in
outline of Texas and Oklahoma (we got married very near the border.. I'm from TX, he's from OK)
I (heart) bridesmaids
I (heart) groomsmen
A+M in a heart
I ordered them from an Etsy vendor, Heather is Crafty. I sent her a PDF of the 10 designs and she made them in about 2 weeks. She was quick and easy to work with! I ordered 1,000 buttons for about $120. I think her prices have gone up a little since then, but still very affordable for a wedding favor.
We had about 300 people at our wedding, and came home with about 200 of them. They really were pretty popular! We put them out right by our guest book, so people saw them when they walked in. Most people took a Team Bride/Groom one, our friends from our different colleges took the logos, wedding party and their dates took the I heart bridesmaids/groomsmen, etc. Most guests wore about 2-3. I think they ended up being really fun!
If anyone wants me to send them the artwork for them to see/edit, PM me!
I LOVE your sign! I have been looking for a design for my signature cocktail ingredients! Did you have the sign printed by someone? Or was it a DIY? I would love to hear more about it!
@Topolino Thanks! My sister designed the sign using Illustrator. It goes along with our invites, which had the same background shape with different colors. I also made ones for our photo booth, guest book, cake table and send off. They all have different background patterns. If you're familiar with Illustrator, I can send you the file!
Adorable! I'm thinking you could also create some that make statements about the guests and might get some conversations going between strangers... "Bride's/Groom's Family"... "FOB/FOG" ... "Flew In from OOT"... "Music Lover"/"Book Lover"/"Animal Lover"/etc. ... Oh, my, all I need is another DIY project! LOL
I am a graphic designer and have actually started designing some buttons to order for my wedding, too. If you are interested in getting some made, but lack the software skills, let me know and maybe I can help you. You can let me know what the colors are and what you want each button to say, and I can send you the PDF file to send to the button-maker! Just send me a private message. :)
I designed these buttons and had them made by a vendor on Etsy.
