can i ask where you got your labels?
Where did you find all the candy?
Thanks for your comments!
I made the labels myself out of paper I had leftover from making my invitations. I just printed it on my home printer and cut out the shape with my diecut machine.
I got the Jelly Belly’s @ Target, the Gumballs and rock candy sticks @ Party City, the Lollipops from Etsy, and the rest I purchased from Oh, nuts and Candy Warehouse.
Looove it! Hope I can pull off something as beautiful as this for my wedding!
what font did you use for the labels? i’m awaiting my Silhouette machine so I can do my escort cards, menus, and labels for stuffs. but i need some fancy fonts 🙂
Love the font as well! What is it?
The font is called Albemarle Swash and I downloaded it from myfonts.com
And if you want some other cute fonts check out the blog- kevin and amanda. I used a few of their fonts as well.
What is the store name on etsy for the lolli pops?? I MUST have them!!!!
Where did you get the bags? They are too cute!
If you dont mind me asking, how much do you think it all cost you? I was thinking of doing this but my FI thinks it’ll work our expensive! Did u buy the glasswear of hire? thanks!
The Etsy store is Fusion Sweets
The bags came from papermart.com http://www.papermart.com/Product%20Pages/Product.aspx?GroupID=14750&SearchItemNumber=7410220P#74 Then I just stamped our initials on them with some stamps from Michaels.
I splurged on the Lollipops– they were about $100.00 for 36 but they were beautiful so I had to have them. The Jelly Bellys were pricey too- I got 6lbs for $9.99 each at Target. The sixlets came from hobbly lobby during a 50% off sale. the bubblegum balls and rock candy sticks they are 5.99 pk and I got about 6 each so $71.88 and were from party city. The chocolate covered pretzels were a large expense also- 10 per box for 6.49 I got 10 boxes, they are from oh nuts.com. The almonds, salt water taffy, and loose rock candy (this was actually meant for the rock candy sticks to stick into, but oh well) were from oh,nuts also and cost about $110.00 the candy sticks were from amazon and cost $15.00 for 80. All in all we spent about $450.00. Wow- I never added that up until now. Thats ALOT!!
So yes your FI is right, it does cost alot BUT it was a big hit. We had absolutely nothing left. Everyone loved it. As far as the Glass I purchased a few pieces that I knew I could use again but my planner had alot for my to rent from her.
I hope this helps you decide on having a candy bar and possibly the cost of different candies you may use.
