well, you could do red and brown candy…maybe with the western handkerchiefs tied around the jars or as makeshift table cloths under them? also the bags can be small brown bags like at an old time candy shop. Maybe a sign that says penny candy( not that they would buy it, sort of for looks? I got all my jars at walmart for a great price

hey mindy, what about using some brown baskets lined with bandanas/gingham fabric to put some candy in?  they’re always at the $1 store and it might tie it all together!

kind of like the baskets here, but maybe round and at different heights to add interest?

Also, i did our whole candy table for $125 using things everyone had at home and shopping from the Bulk Candy section.  Even though we shopped for candy based on colors and not flavor (there were some weird hard candies in there) the entire table cleared out in 30 minutes!  People love their candy!

I think something that would be cute – and LOVED by the guys (and some girls!) at a western candy bar would be to add some things like individually wrapped slim jims, beef jerky, licorace laces…you get the picture.  Certainly include the caramel cow tails…also the caramel “bull’s eyes”…and I would label them that way…maybe even put a cute bunting over the table that says (instead of “candy”) “Happy Trails to You”…for decoration it would be cute to take some pieces of branches and tie a bandana stuffed with fiber fill or cotton to the end like a hobo stick…you could prop those up in mason jars.  Anyway, I am sure whatever you do will be just wonderful.  Good luck.
