Is the sign on the front to big?
I don’t think so! This looks great! I am actually wanting to do something like this myself. Where did you get the birdcage from?
Honest opinion? Maybe slightly. But I probably wouldn’t have thought so had you not said something. I think this is lovely! What idd you use on the top in between the flowers for that bling? I LOVE that little touch!
The birdcage was on clearance at hobby lobby. My FI spray painted it white for me.
The bling is a crystal button from Jo-Anne’s.
I think the whole project cost under $35
I love the flourish you used for your monogram/names as well as your card box. Where did you get it?
How did you attach the card to the ribbon? And, how did you make the robbon stay around the cage? I have all the materials but I don’t know how to make the card stick to the ribbon and the ribbon to the cage. Help!
Going to check out our local hobby lobby tomorrow!
Thanks a bunch!
I love it!
I wove the ribbon in and out between the birdcage slats.
The sign is attached to a piece of black cardstock. I two made vertical slits in the center of the card stock about 2″ apart. The slits need to be taller and wider than the ribbon. I then slid the ribbon throught it from the bottom to the top and adhered it to the cardsotck with tape. I then covered everything with the sign.
I have found that when attached ribbon to anything scotch tape works the best.
Great job! I love it. I want to do something similar for my wedding.
