Here is my finished card box. It cost me about $11.00 to make. Paper mache boxes came from Hobby Lobby – on sale they both cost $7.75. I made the bow from ribbon that I had and the damask print is wrapping paper (it cost $5.00 for the roll but I didn’t use but a third of it – if that). Cards sign was made by using a wooden plaque board (had it left over from one of my son’s school projects) and I had the bling. Also, you can lift the box up by either of the pink sections to remove the cards.

Sorry I didn’t get back to you sooner, I just saw this post. I used a tutorial from YouTube to make my box. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Le5jvH8v2Yg
Some folks use spray adhesive, I used glue sticks and it came out fine. Best wishes

Are you selling it? If so I want it and will replace pink with red! 🙂

I’m just curious, are you just taking two round boxes and sticking them together? Are you cutting a hole in the bottom one so there’s more room for the cards?

Sorry ChelleBlake – it has already been sold.
Banook – yes, it was two round boxes with lids, used upside down. There is a hold in the top for th card to go, there is also a hole in the middle so the cards would fall to the bottom. It could be taken apart at both areas (middle and bottom). Follow my tutorial above – it wasn’t too hard to make!
