This is the base for our centerpiece that my awesome FI made. I had intended on just glueing them together, but no dice on taht working out. He had to go to home depot to get the L brackets and screw 4 into every box to make it hold. THe end result was fantastic though. We are doing different Baltimore neighborhoods for out tables. 2 side are pictures of the neighborhood that my FI took and the other 2 sides are the name printed on vellum and light shining though behind. The florist is creating a display that drops right into the top. I can’t wait to see them all finished.

Super unique! What a creative idea. I’m sure your guests will get a kick out of seeing all the different ones on the tables.

This idea is fantiastic! How exactly did you get the images on the velum?
Also, what are the frames made of and what size did you go with?
Thanks for sharing this!

Our home printer actaully printed right on it. The frames are MDF (the fake wood that ikea uses for everything) they are just dollar store frames. They are supposed to be 5×7 but there were a little bigger.
