Hey, I was going to email you to let you know that the flowers came in yesterday. Now you can see how I am trying to incorporate them, lol. Thanks bunches!
Love the plate you have the centerpieces on…I’m going to do something simlar for my centerpieces, but I always felt it looked a little empty. Are those plates chargers? Where did you get them?
They are chargers, but they are a hard plastic. I just happened to walk into Hobby Lobby last week and saw them sitting right there in front. They also have the same plates in brown, lime green and fuchsia. They have round chargers, too, but I don’t remember the colors of those. They are all $1.99 each.
As far as it looking empty, I thought the same thing, so I bought personalized matches from theknot.com shop and I plan to put those on the plate also, as favors and fillers. I am still thinking about getting some of the clear glass rocks to scatter.
And here is the finished product as taken by my photographer
Beautiful! Are the flowers real? If they are silk, would you tell me where you got them? And are they some type of mum? Thanks!
I love them!
I would also love to know where you got the flowers? 🙂
I love them. I too am interested in the flowers. Thank you so much!
Do your hobby lobby have any more of those brown charger plates? I’. looking for them.
I actually got the flowers from the weddingbee classifieds. They are not silk but they are the type that you would buy at like Hobby Lobby or a craft store, and I am not sure what kind they are I just don’t know enough about flowers and I liked the way they looked, lol. The stems were completely bendable which allowed me to adjust them to different heights as I needed to. I should still have them somewhere if my mom wasn’t wanting to keep them.
I am really not sure if Hobby Lobby has the chargers anymore, I haven’t really been in there much since the wedding, but they might have them. You can also check Walmart, I saw 4-packs of chargers there for around $6 I think.
