Are the table numbers glued to the vase? How did you get them to stay?!?!
Hi! No, the table numbers are in very heavy silver place card holders and are slightly propped against the centerpiece. I bought the table number holders at Michael’s, and they worked really well! The menu is on the opposite side of the centerpiece and is also in a place card holder.
I like this!! Thanks!
This looks beautiful. What is the hight of the vase? Also, how many people does that table seat. I’ve been thinking about doing something similar but i’m afraid that its going to be too small for a round table that seats 8-10 people… was it substantial enough to make the table look fully decorated?
Thanks! @KimbeeQ – that table seated 8 people, and we tried to keep seating at every table to 8-9 so there was enough elbow room for everyone. I feel that with the votives and the cloth square, table number and menu that it was enough.
The height of the vases were 2ft I think, or close to it.
There were also 2 bread baskets on each table (not pictured here, since the photog took these before the salads and bread baskets were put out, and then again after dinner was served). I thought it was enough, but then again I like to keep things really simple and streamlined. Here are some alternate views of the tables:
Hope this helps, although I don’t have the best pictures of the reception tables.
It looks great, and with the mirror and purple cloth below it stretches out the visual just enough to keep it simple yet bold. Thanks for the info!!
Are you selling any items from your reception? In particular, the purple clothes?!?!?
Sorry, mochalatte, I rented all the tablecloths and napkins. The centerpieces (particulalrly the vases) were also rented to us by the florist. You can get 1ft tall vases like those at the Dollar Tree for $1 each, though, and that is what we did for our ceremony vases which we filled with pillar candles (also from the Dollar Tree).
