These are my Coral and Silver DIY Invites. I am super crafty but super busy already so I was going to have someone print my invites for me and I was going to add ribbon to make them a little more fancy. But after searching, for what seemed like forever I decided people charge way to much for a piece of paper, and there were none I saw that fit my vision. So I decided to DIY.
Hope this Helps!
I bought plain white invitations from Staples (Box of 100 for $25), then made the invites using Word and printed them on my computer at home (didn’t use alot of ink). I decided to make Postcards for my RSVP, due to cheaper postage (hey any way to save a little $$$) I bought already scored paper for postcards at Staples as Well (Avery 3380 Matte White Textured Postcards 120 cards per pack for about $13.00) and printed those on my printer at home as well. I then bought bulk ribbon at http://www.bbcrafts.com in coral and silver(1.5″ silver ribbon 50 yards for $6.00, and 1/2″ coral ribbon 100 yards for $6.00…. awesom buy and they have a variety of colors and more fun stuff to use for decorating!) and a bag of rinestones from walmart ($8 for like 1000 rinestones)
I cut the ribbon to the size I wanted and glued them with Tacky glue (found at local craft store for $3-$5). Once dry I glued a rhinestone on the front with super glue and allowed them to dry.
To finish I slid the RSVP postcard in between the invite and the ribbon and placed in the envelope to be mailed.
