Where did u find the purple paper? I have only been able to find multi colored origami paper… I LOVE this. I am not Japanese but love the meaning behind it.

This is super super beautiful!!! Is there a symbolic meaning to the crane? Just curious. I’m thinking of doing something like this that involves a beaded shower curtai; but your idea looks like it might be put together so much better. Did you get the instructions somewhere or just put it together intuitively? Thanks for sharing with us.
