For our wedding I did a coloring and activity book for the kids and bought a bunch of 25 count boxes of crayons when they were on sale for back to school ($0.25 each at the time!). I didn’t want to have the ugly crayola boxes sitting on a cute table at the reception so I made a template and covered the boxes in brown craft paper (I used this a lot at for our wedding).
I designed the template specifically for Crayola boxes so it may not fit other brands so well. All I did was print the template onto cardstock and then cut along the outer lines. I used this to trace it onto the craft paper and to guide where to fold the craft paper to get it to fit the box. Then I used plain old glue sticks to glue it to the box, overlapping the large rectangle over the one that with the grid in the template. This way you never saw that crayola yellow unless you were looking at the bottom of the box.
