Cupcake tower was made by myself using $1-$3 pizza pans and serving platters from Dollar Tree and Party City, $1 vases to separate each level, and black spray paint, followed by a food-safe clear top coat.

This is great! My venue unfortunately won’t let us bring any “cake” like items that are not from a certified bakery, but if they did I would be all over this! Great job; way to save a TON of money and still keep it classy!

@MadTownGirl – did you ever think of getting cupcakes done at your local grocery store? If they deliever/bring them in you can have them! They are usually under $1.25 each, too!

Would you care to tell how you attached the vases to the pans? Thanks!

we ordered our cupcakes from our local grocery store for .69 each! in four different flavors 🙂 however i may use this idea for the display because renting one from the bakery was gonna be an extra hundred bucks…no thanks!

@sarahlynnette4: I used E6000 glue to attach the vases to the pans. This worked really well.
@MadTownGirl: We actually bought the cupcakes from our venue. A cake was literally the only food item you could bring in from outside, so we couldn’t get cupcakes anywhere else.
