This is my second attempt to post this DIY project.
I bought these shoes from Famous Footware for $49.95. That is way cheaper that the original Nina Evelixa shoes. My wedding colors are blue white and silver. I thought these were too plain so I used ss10 clear crytals and light sapphire swarovski crystals only to the heel as to not go over the top. I added two rows of ss16 light sapphire to add a pop of color.
I am fighting with the idea of adding more crystals to the split between the ruffles.
What do you ladies think?

i think that a row across the instep between the ruffles is perfect! how many stones? how much?

I bought a pack of 72 (ss10) swarovski crystals I bought from M& J trim in NYC for $9.99 and a pack of 1440 clear (ss10) non-swarovski crystals for $20.00. I already had the (ss16) crystals from another project. I live in NYC so crystals are easy to buy and are reasonably priced. It might be easy to buy them online but you have to pay shipping.

Yessss! I agree, a strip of crystals in the ruffles would make this a finsihed piece. I like the touch of something blue on the heel. very classy 🙂
