Are you planning on printing anything on the other side? And how are you packaging them to mail?
We are doing book marks as well but I’m doing double sided on heavy cardstock.
Also have you considered mixing up the coloring to break up the text a little.
Just a suggestion of course because they look beautiful as is, but if you made the ampersand and both of those hearts black it might make the blue text pop a little more?
@bug: I’m curious to know what you’ll be putting on the other side. I haven’t planned on addinganything else but am interested in suggestions :). I think I def will play with the colors too! Thanks!
On the front Im having the SO and I take the photo booth style pictures with the save the dcard signs and some decorations on the sideS. on the back I just have the monogram I made for us, matching designs with the front and horizontal text down the middle of our wedding website. I figured they could get any other needed info from the website. I wanted them double sided so no matter how they put it in their book they’d be reminded.
Can I ask what other book themed decorations you’re doing?
I want to do book invitations, but haven’t quite figured out how I want to pull that off. I’ve found a few samples from Etsy that I like, but we’ll see what the final end result will be. I’ll most likely be creating my own, so we’ll see what I can do 🙂
I have a card catelogue box that I’m putting my seating into and will be using the Tolsby frames from IKEA with book covers for the tables instead of numbers. I’m going to have books for centerpieces and found another bee (Jema) who spraypainted her book centerpieces and sent me a tutorial 🙂
I haven’t decided about flowers yet. I’ve found some paper flowers, which I liked, but don’t know if it’d be too much (I have a feeling it would) and also found a really pretty bouquette on here that was created with ribbon roses, which seemed very soft and not as “look at me” as real flowers.
I have a whole pinterest devoted to the book theme, if you’d like to take a peek 🙂
Thanks. One really neat thing I found was garland of heart cutouts from book pages. I’ll go through your pinterest when I get home thanks!! I’m interested to see these book invitations!
I’d be equally as interested in any of your ideas/inspirations 🙂
I think your budget might be slightly higher than mine because there is no way I would be able to afford the book invitations. They are REALLY neat though. I’ll be putting the book page roses into my fabric flower centerpieces. I thought that would give the book theme but also be soft and romantic. I’m trying to play up the romance and down play the books I think so that its a subtle mix but its there. I like the story idea. I might have to incorporate that into our invitations.
Some of the things I’ve come accross are :
