I like mixing it up! My only suggestion would be to do clear water in the vases with red flowers, I think it may be more striking.

There are some companies that make flowers out of plastic instead of fabrics, which I would think wouldn’t bleed! May also be worth searching for submersible flowers or somethign along those lines.

I think these are very pretty!! I’m actually doing something similar with my centerpieces.  You could use white flowers and get a red subermisible LED light and hide it in the stones.  Or you could get red stones and use a white LED light – our colors are a variety blues and we’re using white flowers, blue stones and a white LED light and the vase lights up to be blue.
