Love this site! It has been so helpful. I am having a Jewel-toned inspired wedding with jewel colors in sapphire blue, majestic purple, emerald green, fuchsia and ruby red (claret they call it); With so much color I want my centerpieces to alternate between them. Also, I was so inspired by your ladies’ beautiful centerpieces that I decided I’m going to have two different centerpiece designs, too.
Here is the first one inspired by the gorgeous black damask and hot pink vase someone did on here. I bedazzled a tall hurricane vase with gems and ribbon and then topped it with a faux flower pomander. What do you all think of mine? I haven’t decided on the filler yet (if any). Was leaning towards either black river rocks to put at the bottom or a bright blue gem stone? I plan to have two of the purple vases pictured, two of the pink ones and the white one will go on the head table. I was thinking of adding some white feathers (either ostrich or swan) to the pomanders. What do you think?(I just bought some really cute swan basins to fill with candy as the favors so I thought that would tie it in nicely). The tables will be sprinkled with diamond confetti to add a touch more sparkle and bling! Should I also add rose petals sprinkled on the table or is that too much?
I’ll post the other centerpiece once i get a chance to make it:) but just to give an idea I am planning on having shorter vases filled with pearl beads and a short votive with candle (or LED light) and the tables sprinkled with rose petals and pearls (and possibly more diamond confetti).
