Bee’s, i picked up this petticoat at a 2nd hand store for about $3. That was awesome as i’m going to be dying it orange. But it isn’t as fluffly as i hoped and isn’t really ading any fluff to my dress.
Here is my problem, what should i do? I can go out and get a new one, but i won’t find one for as cheap. I could add a few more layers to the petticoat itself,or i’m make a whole new one.
Have any of you tried to craft a petticoat? Or should i just give in and pay more for a new one?

I’m facing the same problem. I heard that you can stretch the edges of the tulle to fluff it out a little.
If that’s still not enough, you could also just buy some rough tulle, cut a long strip (long enough to go around the dress bottom TWICE), ruffle one edge, and sew it into the other layers of tulle. You probably want to do this several times until it’s as fluffy as you like it.
I’d say, NO, definitely do NOT try to make another one, when it’s easier to just add more fluff to the one you have. And you’re certainly not gonna find or make another one for less than three bucks! What a steal! Good going!
