- Wedding: November 2011
I really wanted to ask my bridesmaids in a fun way if they would be apart of our special day. I was interested in doing a box of things, but my girls live all across the state. It would have been quite expensive to mail and impossible to coordinate a time to meet all of them.
So, I made these with a personal letter included and a print off from the knot about the duties of the bridesmaids or maid of honor. In the letter I asked the girls to e-mail me a picture of themselves in the headband if they accept. They have really enjoyed it and I’m loving the photos!
1 sheet 8.5×11 wedding paper from Hobby Lobby $.59
1 sheet of diamond ring scrapbook stickers from Hobby Lobby $3.49
1 pack of 4 headbands from Charlotte Russe $6.50
1 pack of 5 6×9 envelopes from CVS $2.49
I believe they cost $.79 to mail each of them
Total cost about $13.07 or $3.26 each, for 4 without shipping cost
I cut the wedding paper in 4 equal parts. Then, printed on regular copy paper “Will you head down the aisle with me?” This can be done with any font, size or color (or on cardstock). I cut those pieces to fit on the wedding paper and I thought they looked best at an angle. Using regular tape I taped the backs, stuck them on and put the ring embellishment on 1 corner. To keep the headband with the paper, I lightly taped them to the paper.
I considered turning the wedding paper and taping the question centered but the pattern looked funny. I also used the extra ring stickers as an additional seal to the envelope.
