I love these.  I love the idea of clutches for bridesmaids.

Hi all, I actually made these.  We were perusing WeddingBee from my house the other night and Mrs B. was logged in when I was in the midst of uploading all of the projects.

Anyway, I made all of them out of outdoor cushion remnant fabric from Hancock Fabrics, which made them extra durable and then followed this tutorial for the clutch:

For the flowers, I fell in love with ones from EmersonMade and tried to replicate.  To do this, I cut 8-10 2″ fabric circles and 1 felt circle.  With each of the 16 petals, I pinched one edge and glued it in place.  By pinching it together, it gave the “petal” more shape.  After making all the petals, I stitched them around th felt base and then added a pin to the back so they were removable.

May have described it better in the other bridesmaid clutch picture with the jewel in the middle – same technique, just dressed it up.

It should say “each of the 10 petals” – depending on the fabric and the look you’re going for, you can add/subtract petals as you choose.
