After reading ENDLESS tutorials on how to make my own brooch bouquet, I just dove in and I could not be more excited with the result! It was not hard at all!! If you are thinking about making your own brooch bouquet, I highly recommend it! We collected alot of the peices from clearance racks (giant rings were the easiet to do!) and took an idea from Miranda Lambert and had all the shower guests bring a brooch to the shower! Hope you all think it is as beautiful as I do! 🙂
BTW – I know it’s hard to tell but the pics are just one brooch bouquet just taken from different angles. I’m having the girls carry real flowers.

How many brooches did you use for your bouquet?

It’s beautiful!!!! Is it really heavy though?? I’ve been thinking about it and my photographer said he shot a wedding last week where the bride had one and it weight a TON.

OMG! Those are amazing! Congrats! 🙂 Haha I saw this idea not to long ago and was like :O That’s so cool! I really don’t think it’s my style, but I absolutely love em 🙂

@meowmix – I would say I used about 65-70 brooches.
@Ocean – It doesn’t weigh too much…definitey more than real flowers but i’d say maybe 3 lbs. I definitely recommend making it. I have loved the whole process, from estate sale shopping to getting them as shower gifts. It’s been so fun!
@KatieWill – THANKS! I know it’s not everyone’s style, you should have seen the looks on some people’s faces when I said what I was making… LOL

I love the shape. I have my “flowers” made, did you use a plastic bouquet holder or anything to help shape?
