Where did you get your brooches from?

I love the colors of your brooches…I’m not sure if you have a burlington coat factory near you but I got a ton of brooches for my mom’s bouquet for $3-$5 (no shipping)

Looks great, I love your brooch colors.

I have collected about 45 brooches for my bouquet. I found 10 at a antique store but they ran $3-10 each…kinda pricey for just one.

Then I went on http://www.shopgoodwill.com and bid on brooches that came in 10-15 per auction. I saved money and the broches are all different and antique. My wedding is vinatge/glam inspired.  Also check out http://www.Listia.com, free bidding w/ pts not money for brooches and then at garage sale. I have a year so no hurry. My bridal party and MIL are also hunting for brooches, which makes it special.

I went to fabulous brooch and picked out 3. When I went to the checkout my total was $13 and the shipping was $15 🙁 Was a little too expensive for me, could be because it would be shipping to Canada.

Awesome job ladies; it is hard to find cheap brooches now that this bouquet idea is catching on .. with that said I just had my bridal shower last weekend and we asked every guest to bring a brooch for my bouquet… and well that brought about 90-100 brooches! Some family felt to share more than one and each came with a story!

I’ve spent the past two days wrapping the brooches and getting ready for the bouquet to come together! I can’t wait to see the finish product!! =]

Good luck to all completing this DIY!
