Hello Fellow Bees!
I am in the process of creating my own invitation suite so I wanted to make sure to make a great 1st impression with an envelope liner!
So my envelope liner is a little more labor intensive than most people because I wasn’t pleased with the color choices for my liners. So I decided that I would use a purple damask design with a chartruese background for the liner so essentially it is 2 liners combined into 1.
So I started with a file folder and traced the outside of my envelope to make a template. I cut about an 1/8 off each side and about 2 inches from the bottom to make this template
I then traced the outer part of the liner and cut it out.
Once I finished the outer part of the liner I used the purple damask and created a small liner using the inside of the envelope as a guide
I then used my tape gun to glue the 2 parts together and then I lined the 2 parts up with the “licking” part of the envelope, folded the envelope down (using my bone tool), and then I used the tape gun to glue it to the actual envelope and voila… a Beautiful Envelope Liner that makes a GREAT 1st impression!
