So after I finished my flowergirl totes I decided to try to takle those for my bridesmaids. I also used some of the extra fabric to create pseudo-jewlery rolls to wrap their jewlery.
These are the totes that I made for my flowergirls today. I wanted to give my bridal party totes, but many of the totes that I found were out of my price range. I made each of these for $7. I bought the totes, no sew adhesive webbing, and fabric from walmart. I ironed the webbing to the fabric (following the direction provided on the package) and then cut the letters using my cricut expression (thanks to my fiance). To cut the fabric without shredding it, I put the fabric adhesive side up on the mat and used the highest pressure setting on the blade and the adjustment knob and medium speed. I also found that if you tape the edges of the fabric to the mat, the cricut has less trouble cutting the curvy letters. (There is a good video posted on youtube on how to cut fabric with your cricut).
Oh, and I chose solid totes for the bridesmaids. I am going to monogram theirs rather than writing out their full names.
