I too was able to find a studio here in the DC area. I have been taking classes and they will let me rent the studio for $10 an hour to print my invitation suite. I am so excited.

Hi!  I’m looking for a letterpress studio in the DC area.  What is the name of the one you found?  And where did you take the classes?  Thanks!

Thanks!!! Smile

Mochacoca,

I am also in the DC area and really interested in making my own letterpress invitations, but I had no idea this was possible!  I am so excited – was just wondering what your experience at Pyramid Atlantic was like.  Were the classes good?  And not too expensive?

thanks!

OMG!! I am super jealous! I would go to extremes to have letterpressed invites unfortunately it does not fit our budget and i live in Alabama. . . not many resources.

Good luck in class!

Caroline,

My experiences with Pyramid has been awesome so far. Keep in mind I started taking classes way before I had wedding on my brain. The classes are about $35 an hour but you can also attend their letterpress happy hour every 1st and 3rd wednesday. The prices are a little cheaper for the happy hour. Hope this helps!
