- Wedding: June 2012
I am getting married in June of 2012 at a restored farm house in Narragansett, RI. I wanted a very rustic feel to my wedding, and what better way to do that than mason jars! It should be said that my color scheme is eggplant, light green, and white accents. My wonderful sisters and I went to Manhattan’s flower market and picked up some stasis, orchids, button mums, dark purple carnations, white and green hydrangea and a green/white mum which I don’t know the exact name of. Then, I picked up three mason jars (one 24 oz and two 12 oz), some ribbon and rafia. In the large mason jar we arranged the flowers, and the small mason jars we used for floating candles. I also added two votives last minute.
The table numbers are just a mock up but used raffia, and scrap book paper. I will not be using that exact scrap book paper but that is the only one I had in the house at the time.
When all is said and done, each centerpiece (with flowers, jars, candles, votive holders, ribbon, and raffia) will be around $20-$23/piece.
What do y’all think??
