My fiance hasn’t asked for much in our planning so ever time he does I am all over it. Canoe full of bottled beer for cocktail hour um, sure… Cigar bar at the reception of course. These little matchboxes will go in a bowl at the cigar bar. I am thinking of having custom lables printed for the cigars too(by that I mean me and my Hp printer). But anyways here they are. The first 6 of what will be 15-30 maybe.
I messed up on one and stamped it too far to the right, added some jems and I love it. Not enough to do it for all of them though, not nearly enough.
The project costs next to nothing. I bought a 6pack of matchboxes at the dollarstore. Used the shell as a guide and made a cover out of scrapbook paper. I cut out and glued the match swipe part and finished each one in about 3 minutes.

I am curious how you did this too. Did you buy them and cover them? Or make them – make them?

I bought a ten pack of match boxes from the dollar store. I took the outer cover off and folded shimmer paper in my colour. Using double sided tape i put them together. I cut the strike stripe off of the original cover and attached it to the new one. I used my trusty stamp for the happily ever after part. I messed up on a few and the stamp was not centered. Here I added gems. I made 40 for about 5 dollars.
