I was going to try stamping my napkins with stayzon – but was it embossing, how hard is it and what do I need?

To emboss you need the Versamark Clear Ink, a container of embossing powder and a heat gun. It is pretty easy, but a little more time consuming than just plain stamping…but looks really good!

I used the metallic silved Staz-On and though I agree it was a little thick, I found that I really just needed to keep re-inking the pad every 10-15 stamps. Once I figured that out, it went much smoother. I’ll post pics soon, I did over 500 napkins in 3 different styles; one for at the bar, another near the cupcakes and then a third to go in a treat bag that we are handing out on a guided trolley tour.

Thanks for the video. It does look easy enough. Our color is lime green so embossing black napkins would look pretty fab.

I think I might stamp a few napkins this weekend to figure out what design layout I like (I am piecing together clear stamps- though considering ordering) and see if I know anyone who has the embossing materials that I can borrow.

Thanks Bees!
