chandelier rings: this was a winter chandelier that i got here at our local store “dungeon” which carries alot of costumes, party stuff, etc. in which most i think comes from Oriental trading! anyway i checked online and these were originally $24.95 for the chandelier but i got this on sale for $18×2=$16 took ofF all the strings and made the rings bare.
peacock feathers were $.50 each & there’s about 40 = $20.00
hanging crystal beads from a beaded curtain purchased from a Wbee for $15, 5 strands used. about $.20
the goldish / purplish things on the peacock feathers are gold styrofoam beads and the purple are split shots, tiny weights that fishermen use on their line, painted purple. beads and split shots together about $4.00
ivy vines, almost 8 ft. long, split w/in the 2 rings, top / bottom=$9
led b/o mini lights $5
purple tulle about $1.00 worth
glue gun/glue sticks $1.00 worth
so rougly $56.00 spent to make this! whew! should have probably just tried to find one already made, but i havne’t seen one like this and then it takes away the joy of D.I.Y! right!
then it took about…if i was to include from beginning to end, from taking off winter ropes that were on it to glueing the last feather, 9 hrs total!
and thats with help from others…
so anyway, w/out further adue….
my PEACOCK CHANDELIER! HOPE U LIKE IT AS MUCH AS I DO, LOL!
