- Wedding: April 2012
Here is my first attempt at something DIY for the wedding. I have a lot of ideas, but this is the first thing I have fully executed! I am pretty happy with how these turned out. Because I live in VA, but I am orginally from RI, many people have begun shipping gifts to us in VA. I wanted to be able to keep up with the gifts as they came in, so I made these super simple “Thank You” cards which I fill out and send in the mail as soon as we receive any gift! I wanted to keep the Thank You cards for the shower or anything prior to the wedding different than the Thank You cards that will go out after the wedding. In the event that someone gives us a gift prior to the wedding and attends the wedding, I don’t want them to receive the same card!
These were really easy to make – just needed blank cards, peacock cardstock (from Michael’s), gold carstock, scissors, “Thank You” stamp, blue ink, and adhesive!
So, these are my first Thank You cards!
