Check out my centerpieces! They are rose balls with a hanging crystal 🙂
To make them I used about 18-20 ivory silk roses from Michael’s and a 4″ styrofoam ball.
First I pulled the stems off (literally!) and then put the flowers into the ball to make a hole.
Then I put hot glue in and around the hole on the styrofoam and pressed the flower in for a few seconds.
I started around the middle until I went all the way around and then I moved on to the top and bottom.
Before I was finished with the top, I folded a piece of thick metal wire to make a loop and pressed it through the styrofoam ball. This is the look I will use to add fishing line and the hanging crystal.
Then just finish adding in all the flowers and DONE! I am sitting them on top of a vase I bought @ Ikea.
Cost: Flowers were $2.50 each but I bought them ONE BY ONE (yes I’m a regular @ Michael’s) with 40% off coupons to save money
Styrofoam ball: $3.99 but also purchased with coupon
Vase: $1.99 @ Ikea
Wire, Crystal, Hot Glue and Glue Gun I already had
