I know this idea is nothing new, but I wanted to share it because I had a really hard time finding a tutorial that wasn’t permanent. I used glue dots and it worked perfectly! The bottom part is a small cake pedestal my mom found at TJ Max for $4.99 and the top is from a set of 4 dinner plates we got on clearance at target for around $8. I know the dollar tree has some nice white plates as well, so if I decide to make more I will go there to get the dinner plates in order to cut the cost down. I put about a dozen glue dots on the bottom of the cake pedastal and attached the plate to give me a larger surface to place our desserts! The glue dots work best if you put them on the raised part on the bottom. If you try this, you’ll see what I mean when you go to do it. The ribbon came with the stand, but it can easily be removed and replaced with a diferent style which is what we plan to do.
