So my first fitting for my wedding dress is next week and I really wanted to finish the shoes for the fitting.
I understand other bees calling these shoes labour of love. I think I put about 15 to 20 hours in strassing the shoes. I also didn’t use crystal and went with rhinestones instead. They don’t shine as much as crystal but I wasn’t looking for sparkles. I wanted a “textured” shoes. I also chose two shades of blue for more texture.
The shoes were on sales for $20. And bought about $60 worth of rhinestones and have about half left.
Here are the “before” shots of the shoes.
And now the finished product:

How well did the crystals stick to the satin shoes?

@Day_In_The_Life: The rhinestones stuck very well to the satin. I wore them on my wedding day and didnt lose a single rhinestone.
