- Wedding: July 2012
My fiance and I are getting married in the backyard of his aunts old historic 1918 home in North Carolina in July. We’re trying to plan an informal, intimate, fun, and somewhat casual wedding and wanted our wedding invites to reflect that!
To throw a wrench into the whole process, my fiance and I live and work in South Korea, and have been planning everything from here. Wedding invites are done VERY differently in Korea, so I knew I’d have to get creative and make them myself… the invites AND the envelopes! Lucky for me, there are AWESOME Korean traditional paper stores to choose textured paper, glue is easy to find, scissors are too, and the paint pen I used to write the addresses and decorate the envelopes was only $1.00! SCORE We’re using fabric flags to decorate the back porch of the house, so I made lil mini flags for the invites. Just sent them in the mail yesterday! YAY!
Anyone else have a cat or dog who’s ALWAYS wanting to help?! I’m hoping none of the recipients are allergic!
