I made these wine glasses as a friend’s wedding gift. I plan to make similar ones as my bridesmaid gifts, as well as for the mother of the bride and mother of the groom. I used etching creme for the letters and acrylic paint on the base of the glass. Glasses were from dollar tree – very cheap to make
Made this one for myself with my Cricut Personal…

Did you buy the outdoor vinyl to use with your cricut or just the normal you can get from Michaels?

I bought exterior vinyl so that it would stick “permanently” or so it says! Here is a direct link of the kind I bought..I just bought a couple sample packs to see colors and such..they are 12×12 sheets which go a long way if making small things like this glass.

What did you use for the stencil for the first set of glasses? I’m trying to make something like this for my wedding party (and potentially ALL my guests as favors) but I’m not sure where to start. I’d like to put the date on the glasses, but don’t have a circuit to make the stencil myself. Any alternative ideas, or ideas where I could buy a personalized stencil?

These are cute. We etched our own Sand Ceremony set which saved us some serious $$$. It came out great!
