- Wedding: July 2012
I had so much fun with these and fiance had no idea I was doing them….needless to say he loves them!!! I got the inspiration from surfing the internet and thought the “tux” look was so cute 🙂 So I decided to do one for each male figure that was going to be asked to be in our wedding. Groomsmen, usher, jr. groomsmen, and ring bearer. I’m also going to make 2 more for our dads…my dads will say Dad…will you walk me down the aisle? Not sure what I will put on his fathers yet?? The inside card is just instrucions on where they need to go to get their attire for the wedding. It includes personal info such as our group number etc, so sorry didn’t post a really good pic of it…what do you think???
I have to say that purchasing the Martha Stewart scoring board was one of the best purchases EVER for this wedding 🙂 I used it for this project to score the cards. I started with a 8.5×11 piece of blac card stock, cut it in half and then scored it down the middle to create the card. Since I had 4 typed cards on white cardstock per page they turned out to be the perfect size. I then cut a slit at the top and folded over the corners it created to make the “collar” part. I glued that template to the front and the attire infomration card to the inside and that’s it! This puppy even comes wth directions on how to make envelopes and I did a mock of one last night at a smaller scale and it was so simple…so my next project is to make the envelopes for these 😉
