I ordered samples of two versions of wedding invitations I designed. Which one do you like better? I'm leaning towards the top one - because our wedding will take place in an aspen forest and the trees on that one are aspens. It also matches our save the dates (http://gallery.weddingbee.com/photo/playbill-save-the-dates). The other are just some (albeit very cute) random type of trees. Which font do you prefer for the names?
I really like the horizontal one (but we're also doing a horizontal invite, so there you go!). I have never liked the font in the top one, but the one in the bottom one is fantastic! Do you want a font that's so formal though? Maybe look for a more casual font. These invites are just stunning though, your guests will love them!
These are amazing. I love the first ones most because I prefer the simpler layout (the bottom ones have so many leaves they are a little more complicated). But I agree with others: the font on the second one for the names is a little better (easier to read).
These are all great, but I think I like the top on the best. Would you please let us know the cost of these? I looked into doing all wood invites, since our ceremony is in a redwood lined meadow, but they were going to be just way to expensive. Now we're considering laser cutting veneer and layering it on card stock.
the top one!! i too looked into wooden invites but could not find any affordable! i ordered some sample wooden cards that i am told will go into my inkjet printer, so i'll experiment w/those first...? where did you find these?
I like the first one alot more!!!
If you don't mind me asking,
Were did you get these done?
My fiance and I have been looking for
places to get the lettering on wood for
our invitations too but haven't found any yet.

posted by mdarrah 2 years agoI love these, would you mind posting where you found them? They completely go with my theme.
posted by meetnplnrgal 2 years agoI enjoy the first option the best. The simple tree contributes to the crisp design. It also leads your eye right into the text.
The second option is cute, but the design is almost a little too busy.
These are a fabulous idea, by the way!
