- Wedding: June 2010
I got the idea from two places:
I picked up two 24″ by 36″ inch black frames from Joann Fabrics. I originally bought one at Michael’s but it cost more and was really heavy which would make the day of the wedding a bit tougher. These are supposed to make my life easier, not harder. We may only have one hour before the wedding to set up if they book a lunch in there, so I want to automate as much as possible.
It’s just broadcloth and ribbons stapled to the back of foamboard. Unfortunately, I couldn’t find any foam board in my size so I bought 30″ by 40″ at Aaron’s Bros. and they cut it down for me. Notice the drooping?
I fixed that with corsage pins. They were a bit long, but I crimped them down with pliers. I think they’ll look really nice when covered with escort cards.
