I assume you meant to put at the bottom, “Casual attire is allowed“?
Casual attire will be aloud, so yes. What is on the invitation isn’t EXACTLY what’s going to be on there….
I think she meant to let you know (gently) that your spelling on the draft is incorrect. The way you spelled it means that casual attire is spoken out loud (aloud). To let your guests know that casual attire is permitted, you would use the homonym “allowed.”
Good thing it was a rough draf…just KIDDING, It was a rough draft, I just wanted to see what it would look like. Thanks. 🙂 I guess I need to brush up on my english. I am usually the one that points that kind of stuff out. Man oh man….Thanks though!
I totally know how that goes… I posted a comment once and realized later that I had misused they’re and there. Ugh! It’s one of those details that seems to slip away from normally intelligent brains once there is a wedding involved!
I didn’t end up using these after all for our invites.
