Originally I was planning on having a larger brooch bouquet, but as I started working on it, I decided to go a bit smaller. I was so fortunate to have friends and family provide me with many of the brooches that I used.

I’m planning on doing this too- I just, just started collecting brooches. How many did you end up using?

I think I used around 50 or so in this – it’s relatively small compared to ones that I saw on other sites – it’s about 7″ in diameter.
I had many more brooches to use, but I realized that I needed to stick wtih more of a color scheme than to just add whatever brooch I thought was pretty.
I love the brooch bouquet – I’m really happy that I decided to go with it.

I really like this one! Usually, I think that brooch bouquets are a bit gaudy…that’s just me! But this one, with the gold and pearls…it’s different, and it goes together better than other brooch bouquets I’ve seen. It doesn’t look like a ball of silver and rhinestones!
Kinda steampunk-ish to me! (Though I’m partial, because I’m a bit of a steampunk!) I love it!

Wanted to send along a pro photo of the finished product! Everyone loved it at the wedding – got TONS of compliments from guests and vendors. Many of my family were touched since I tried to use as many family brooches as possible.
