Well it depends on what look you’re going for.  I don’t think it looks too thrifty, I think it looks lovely, but if you’re looking for modern and new it’s certainly not that. 🙂

WOW ! This is nice! It doesn’t look to thrifty but one thing that will help it is if they flowers were packed closer together- I know this means more flowers but it’ll help. Other than that, its fine! Where did you get the stand/vase/candle holder from?

I like it best white and I think it would look great a little more packed together.  I do like the purple though, that looks good.  Green never looks natural when applied to flowers, imo.  Great job!

I think this looks gorgeous!! I agree with bugbug that the white actually looks the best.  The purple looks nice, but the green doesn’t seem quite as impressive.  If you want to add something, you can dangle some crystals chains/strands.

I think the all white looks great and would do them all in white instead of adding purple and green. Adding more flowers may make it look a little better, but I’m not sure the difference you’ll get is enough to warrant spending the extra money. The crystal strands are a great idea!

The white one is so lovely!  Crystals or feathers or ribbon or tulle are nice fillers.  I like it just the way you did it though.

I agree I think the white one is the prettiest and I love the candle holder!

great in white.  you can add some flower pins (either diamonds or pearls) in different colors and just attach sporadically around the flower ball.  very light weight crystals are a good idea as well. You may want to place on a mirror and surround with real petals of the alternative colors to tie everything together.  Ladies, for more ideas, check out:

How did you attach your ball to the candlestick? I did the same thing and I’m trying to figure out ways to attach it…..? I think they look great by the way 🙂
