She died many years ago and I only met her once. There was some other jewelry as well that I had melted down and made into a ring for my mother. So now we can both wear something from our history...
I tried to wear the ring at Christmas, but another stone fell out of it, so I have to take it back to the jeweler. I hope he doesn't charge me, he was supposed to have reinforced all the settings so this wouldn't happen.
