I had no idea what I wanted to get my parents as thank you gifts for the wedding, and my mom had told me she didn’t want me spending a bunch of money on her, so I started another DIY. I found some picture frames at Hobby Lobby that were hot pink and purple with some saying for a teenage girl on them and decided I could make them over. After lots of sanding and painting I was finally finished. I went with an antiqued look to try and cover some of the imperfections in the lettering (its really hard to hand paint letters that small and keep them pretty).

Thank you soo much girls!! My parents loved them and they both cried! Before the wedding I took pics with my mom and dad alone so they will both get a pic of just the 2 of us. Almost everyone that saw these cried the weekend of our wedding.
