I think that you should wear what you love as you will have to live with it for the rest of your life. I am in the middle of switching my e-ring and my story is very similar to yours. I know the feeling of not wanting to anything to your fiancee because you feel selfish, but in the same sense certain girls have different lengths and widths of fingers that what looks good on some won’t for others. Thank you for posting this as it makes me feel like I am not the only one out there that this has happened to 🙂

Me and my fiancee went to the jewelery store to get a matching band for my engagement ring. I loved the idea of my engagement and how he picked it out himself but deep inside I always wanted rose gold and victorian feel. So today we went to the store and after trying different wedding bands I saw this gorgeous rose gold ring and matching band, the salesman insisted for me to try it on and I immediately fell in love with it. I felt extremely guilty because it was not original ring and also my fiancee almost paid it off. But he wanted me to be happy and made it happen for me. I am beyond excited and can’t wait to wear my upgrade, I wish I took pictures because it is currently getting sized and I have to wait 2 weeks for it:( As soon as I get it back (just in time for our 3 year anniversary) I am def. posting a picture 🙂
